Before phototherapy
Before using the UV phototherapy device, please inform the phototherapy supervisor that you are taking the medicine, the medicine for use, and the cosmetics you are using, so as to avoid excessive light reaction due to the above reasons.
Before performing UV phototherapy, please consult the phototherapy supervisor's treatment schedule, precautions, and fill out the informed consent form.
For patients with psoriasis, bathe before UV phototherapy to minimize scaling of the epidermis.
Phototherapy
During the irradiation of the ultraviolet light therapy device, the direct light source should be avoided. Since the naked eye is not visible to the naked eye, the patient must wear the professional therapeutic goggles of the ultraviolet therapeutic device. Goggles must be produced by a professional manufacturer and have a production license issued by the State Food and Drug Administration to ensure protection. In order to ensure safety and hygiene, it is recommended that patients use their own professional goggles for separate use.
Due to the blackening effect of phototherapy, in the process of ultraviolet phototherapy, please try to protect the normal skin.
After phototherapy
After the UV phototherapy device is finished, avoid exposure to sunlight or other artificial light sources.
8 to 48 hours after the end of the ultraviolet light irradiation, slight erythema and itching may occur at the irradiation site, so as to be a reaction after the treatment, please do not worry.
After the end of the ultraviolet light therapy device, if there is obvious erythema, burning pain and small blisters in the irradiated area, please inform the doctor in charge, and the doctor will handle the treatment and adjust the phototherapy course and the dose.
Phototherapy period
Please take the following drugs carefully during UV phototherapy to avoid unnecessary photosensitivity:
Western medicine: sulfonamide, hypoglycemic agent, tetracycline, griseofulvin, diuretic, salicylic acid kit oral contraceptives;
Chinese medicine: Nepeta, wind, sand ginseng, Duhuo, Qianhu, cumin, white peony, white peony and psoralen.
